SNORRE STINESSEN

Snorre Stinessen is one of the world’s leading architects. His work has been widely published and has received numerous international awards. His studio has, among other accolades, been named the world’s best small architecture firm in the A+ Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of architecture.

The boutique architecture studio works with only a limited number of clients and partners. Its projects range from large-scale to intimate and include commercial buildings, private residences and other design commissions. The studio provides a broad range of design services, from architecture and interior design to industrial and furniture design.

Polar Life Haus and Snorre Stinessen have collaborated for many years on demanding international projects, and the collection presented here was inspired by their work together. Their best-known collaboration is the award-winning Aurora Lodge luxury retreat in Lyngen, Norway. The project has received recognition in numerous international architecture competitions and has also been widely featured in architecture and travel media.

Every byStinessen project is shaped by the unique characteristics of its site and the specific requirements of its intended use. Some of the designs, however, can also be adapted to different locations and the individual needs of different clients.

Our approach to design goes beyond the form and architecture of the building itself. It is equally rooted in a deep understanding of how interior and exterior spaces are used, and how those uses may evolve over time. Our aim is to create a unique and holistic living experience that enriches the lives of our clients and the people who inhabit the spaces.

Each of these projects has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail. The design process has been carried out in close collaboration with Polar Life Haus to ensure consistently high quality throughout the entire process, all the way to the completion of the house and the moment our clients receive the keys to their new home.

For me, working with Polar Life Haus is a natural choice, as we share the same values and vision of creating healthy homes that support the well-being of our clients. Respect for nature lies at the heart of everything we do.
