CE-MARKING
CE marking enables the free movement of a product within the European Economic Area. It is the manufacturer’s declaration that the product meets the safety, health, environmental, and consumer protection requirements set by the European Union. Many Finnish companies benefit from CE marking, as it ensures their products’ access to European markets.
In Finland, CE marking for construction products became mandatory with the entry into force of the part of the European Commission’s Construction Product Regulation (305/2011) concerning CE marking on July 1, 2013, for those construction products for which there is a harmonized standard enabling CE marking.
Polar Life Haus has been granted CE marking for its log house construction kit and glulam according to the European Technical Assessment ETA-13/0767.

RENEWABLE ENERGY
Polar Life Haus has acquired RES-GO (Renewable Energy Sources – Guarantee of Origin) electricity origin guarantees under the EECS (European Energy Certificate System) for 2000 MWh for the consumption year 2019. The production method is hydropower.
EECS REG-GO electricity origin guarantees are in accordance with the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive 2009/28/EC, which verifies the origin of electricity as being produced from renewable energy sources and free from carbon dioxide emissions.
