Individual design is the foundation of every Polar Life Haus project. We collaborate with the best architects specializing in timber construction and are capable of fulfilling even the most demanding customer wishes. We act like a 3D printer for the architect—realizing their plans exactly as they are, without adding or removing anything.
A century of wood-processing expertise passed down through generations, combined with a passion for product development, is visible in every house. We utilize the most advanced wood-processing technology in the industry, allowing even the most demanding architectural solutions to be executed with precision. Wood is an environmentally superior building material. Log houses sequester carbon throughout their entire life cycle, and when comparing building methods, log houses have by far the smallest carbon footprint. High-quality Polar Life Haus wooden homes and log houses are manufactured using Finnish wood grown in the best coniferous forests of the world. You can feel the calming presence of the forest in the wooden surfaces that embody the positive energy of nature. Whether you live in the middle of a city or in the peace of the countryside, in a wooden house you always have a piece of forest with you.
Wooden surfaces absorb and give out humidity, balancing the indoor air humidity level throughout the year. In a wooden home you find it easy to breathe, you feel better and you stay healthier.
Wood is also undoubtedly the most ecological building material: it is 100% a product of nature, and using it distinctly reduces carbon dioxide emissions. The manufacturing process of a log home consumes considerably less fossil fuels compared to other materials, and the wood waste that emerges as a side product can be further recycled for energy production. The amount of energy that can be produced from the wood waste is almost twice the amount of energy used in the manufacturing process. Furthermore, during its long life span, a log home also stores carbon dioxide.

The aluminium-framed window that integrates into the wall structure allows window surfaces the size of the whole wall in the home of your dreams. HTWS windows make a glass wall look stylishly completed because mouldings are not needed.
The patented non-settling log construction developed by Polar Life Haus is the only one of its kind on the market, as it is realized with a special technique that combines doweling and screws. The construction is especially suitable for modern houses that combine large glass surfaces with solid timber.
A Polar Life Haus eco wooden home is a modern wooden house that has the best characteristics of a log house. In a eco wooden house, mineral wool and plastic are replaced with wood fibre insulation and paper. This gives the wall construction the ability to “breathe” and pass humidity through it.
