WILDERNESS HOTEL SAARISELKÄ
Wilderness Hotel Saariselkä invites guests to immerse themselves in the tranquillity of northern nature and thoughtfully designed luxury, in the heart of Saariselkä’s breathtaking wilderness. Opened in November 2025, the hotel is the chain’s sixth destination.
The area features a total of 22 semi-detached cabins and 20 larger log villas. In addition, there is a large restaurant building with reception facilities, as well as a service building dedicated to activity and programme services.
Designed with an adult audience in mind, the villas place special emphasis on spa-inspired bathrooms. A distinctive detail is the so-called Tyrolean corner, a feature traditionally popular in the Tyrol region of Germany. Decorative and eye-catching, it adds a subtle Alpine touch to the modern log buildings.
The architectural design was led by SAFA architect Janne Kantee.
