RIIHI

The story of Riihi is full of dramatic turns. One of the houses on show at the Housing Fair held in Seinäjoki in 2016, Riihi caught fire in the last stages of construction and burned to the ground. The house was rebuilt at record speed and opened its doors to the fair visitors in schedule. The open architecture and the floating atmosphere of the house left no visitor cold. The house was designed by Seppo Mäntylä.
