VUOREKSENKUUTIOT

Vuoreksen Kuutiot is a new residential area that is currently being built in Koukkuranta in Vuores, Tampere, Finland, which represents modern and environmentally friendly log construction at its best. The area consists of 14 small detached apartments incorporated in a single-family house or semi-detached house, and 12 townhouse apartments, which were implemented as a joint construction project. All of the above were designed by SAFA architect Janne Kantee

Joint building is a new way of acquiring a professionally built new-build home cost-effectively and jointly. The implementation method is in between self-construction and construction company-led residential construction, in which the residents form a housing company led by a joint developer consultant. The engineering office LaRa Oy acts as the construction consultant in Vuoreksen Kuutio.
