CORNER NOTCHES

One of the most important aspects in the quality and functionality of a log house is the tightness and stability of the notches. The notches of a Polar Life Haus log home are made on a fully computer-controlled notch line, where the joints are produced according to the programming made by the constructional designer of the house. The Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing system enables the flawlessness and quality of the notches. Before starting the production, also a so-called model notch is made in order to “double check” that everything fits together perfectly.

With the Hundegger Industrial machine, we manufacture both cross-corner and so-called cornerless city-corner houses.
